Worcester County Council actually admit as much, these roads have been declared bus priority routes, and priority will be given to busses !

It's what our left wing friends would call a 'race to the bottom' though, isn't it?

Make the bus relatively faster by stopping the cars entirely.

Indeed, and it seems to be going on in most major cities, along with places like Oxford banning the private car from its center, Durham and London having extra charges for using roads within the center, Nottingham charging companies for letting their employees park on company land etc etc etc.

Ken Livingstone even admitted to rigging the traffic lights in an anti car session.
