Here's the intro which explains everything:

As per the above post, here's the first in the series on how to pass an advanced driving test.

Recognised it immediately. Cracking drive.
The start - https://goo.gl/maps/wJWkwn8sNGJv1Fce8
The route - A894/A837/A835
Great visibility/sightlines and flow. So much better than the vast majority of the UK.
Itching to get back up there again.
As the video shows, the only potential downside can be the weather.

Another great video, Reg. One thing, throughout the video there's no mention of signalling, nor is there any audible or visual evidence that you are making a signal when you are overtaking. Is this because it's not regarded as necessary to signal when about to overtake? or are you making a signal and just not mentioning it?
I was taught (a long time ago) to always signal when overtaking but sometimes I don't do always do it. I'd be interested to know what your, and others, thoughts on this matter are.

The Highway Code ( https://www.highwaycodeuk.co.uk/using-the-road-ove... ) says "should" in relation to signalling. As with all my signalling, I'll signal if I think the overtakee or a vehicle behind me might need to know my intentions. If not, I won't. It's more usual for me to signal my return to the nearside of the road but again only if I think it's needed - mostly when an oncomer may need to know I've coming back in and it provides reassurance to them.Is this because it's not regarded as necessary to signal when about to overtake? or are you making a signal and just not mentioning it?
