Becoming a Motorcycle Instructor

Talking to a mate at the weekend who's interested in becoming a Motorbike Instructor as he's had enough of the day to day city hum drum.

Question is how does he go about getting fully qualified , how long does it take and what do they earn ?
I think he's interested in a day rate job as wants to semi retire

Thanks, may well suit him as its not about the cash its more something to do and im sure he wont want to do winter months anyway.

Need to find how flexible the working arrangements are as he's not wanting 9-5 hours
