What shoes for size 10 feet and Caterham style kit car?

Evening all.

New member here, though I have browsed a little over the years.

Dad and I have recently bought a Caterham 7 style kit car, a Locust.
Both he and I have large feet, though his are a size smaller than mine (and he won't be driving it much - if at all!)
I have size 10 hoofs, but they are wide buggers.
I am desperately seeking shoes that will allow me to use the pedals one at a time, instead of 3 at once with my right foot! (I can fit barefoot, but will not drive like it!)

I have bought a pair of Piloti shoes which are dead comfy, but about 1/4" too wide for the wee beastie.

Do members have any recommendations for ultra slim dancing shoes which won't break the bank?

Any ideas and info will be very much appreciated.

I was looking for a new pair of these a while back but I think they’ve been discontinued.

Does anybody know differently?

Puma drift cat shoes still available on Amazon, in varous patterns including BMW and Ferrari. I have Ferrari ones (for driving a Porsche on track days!) and they are very narrow with a great curved heel. Nice thin soles too, better in my opinion for driving than the Pilotis.
I got mine at Sports Direct.

Any racing boots should be fine.

Size 11's here and can drive an SV Caterham or Fury wearing these.

I have size 11 feet and have used a skinny pair of Lonsdale trainers for as long as I've had the 7 (about 10 years), Cost about 10% of the others mentioned here.

Another vote for Puma. Have a pair of whirlwinds for driving my Westfield. Had same issue with hitting 2 pedals all the time with normal trainers.

I drive a Westfield (wide body) which may make a difference but find converse suit me perfectly.

I've got a pair of those in black for driving my Caterham. Cost about £10 and give me plenty of room, also size 11.

locost should be ok in anything mentioned above. mine is the standard width 'book' car and the pedal box area is much more spacious than my mate's s3 caterham.

if you really do need slimmer soles, just buy a pair of kart boots. all the benefits of a race boot but far cheaper.

Sparco Imola's are really nice driving shoes. However, make sure you buy +1 size as they come up small.

The problem with racing or karting boots is that aren't very comfortable to walk in and won't stand up to any sort of mileage.

The classic style Converse trainer/boots are narrow, I find them comfy enough to use for long road trips and track days (over 10 years since I've done one though), the heel is surprisingly supportive (for my feet),YMMV.
Edit to say my size 10s have no problems in a Westfield.
