Driving Habits Changed Due to PH??
Discussion
I’m embarrassed to admit it I never used to understand what merge in turn was until I read I few threads on here.
The other day I came across a HGV blocking lane 3 traffic at a lane closing ahead situation. I was half thinking about getting my passenger to photo or videoing the number plate and company details.

Again Pica-Pica shows, PH'ers how drivers bend the rules of the Highway Code ........... to suit themselves, with little consideration to other road users, especially those behind that 'naughty' driver.
This sounds mad, I must have misunderstood - if you’re at the front of a mile of slow moving traffic backed up and someone is trying to join from a side road, the message is that they should expect to wait for an hour or so until rush hour is over?I mean sure, but surely you’re not suggesting that in slow moving rush hour traffic motorists shouldn’t let someone join from a side road? I can think of a couple of spots in my commute where that will leave people on side streets waiting for an hour because traffic is constantly backed up at the lights 50m ahead.

Not driving, but I’ve started to dominate the stairs more since being here.
I assume you double step overlap...
Who goes back when climbing the Scott Memorial stairs?
Hmmm. Life is sooooo tricky.

10p shorts prison diary.
That changed my driving attitude alot.
The, go out into the countryside for a spin and the sudden drastic impact you can have on someone else and resulting punishment and changes to your life.
Intrigued. Is there a link to the diary? A search found the thread but the actual diary seems to have been deleted leaving only the feedback comments...That changed my driving attitude alot.

I let other drivers out of side roads, but then I'm just a nice person and generally not in a hurry!
I generally do too in slow traffic providing they're waiting patiently and not trying to barge their way out, because tomorrow it might well be me waiting in the same spot.
There's so few small courtesies and considerations that oil the wheels of life around now that those which remain go a very long way.
I brake very hard with no warning to let people out of side roads. It’s gives them a nice surprise as they thought you were just another inconsiderate a-hole, and it also teaches the tailgater behind a useful lesson.
But I have many years of roadcraft under my belt, also a member of the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) for at least half a decade.

I was taught to pull-in, after overtaking, when I could see BOTH, of that vehicles, headlamps in my rear view mirror.
as for 'letting people out' at junctions, where was that in the Highway Code ? did your driving instructor teach you that ? does every driver know what it means ??
DON'T DO IT -STOP THAT PRACTICE RIGHT NOW, before it becomes a 'thing'
I'll keep letting people out of junctions if I chose to sunshine, not all of us are as inconsiderate as youas for 'letting people out' at junctions, where was that in the Highway Code ? did your driving instructor teach you that ? does every driver know what it means ??

Also the video about a motorcyclist wiping out a train of cyclists on a hairpin and target fixation. See also goal keepers wearing bright coloured tops.
