I know it's petty but I dislike the tendency of some drivers who seem to take a kamikaze approach to junctions in the hope that the driver on the main road will panic brake and give way to them.

Approaching a give way junction with intimidation and menaces you mean?.

That's very much an everyday thing here in the Essex Badlands and is invariably performed by some aggressive steroidally or surgically enhanced Orange person who'll make a very deliberate show of looking the other way and pretending s/he hasn't actually seen you.
