I've come across this
The Stunt Driving Course...
Half Day- £129.00

This car stunt experience is something very different you'll learn stunt driving techniques incorporating some wild maneuvers! such as J-turns, blindfold driving and handbrake parking!!

Your instructor will have experience teaching some of these techniques to the US State Department Body Guards and also Special Forces teams!
Anyone done this? Looks like the sort of irresponsible hooligan fun I would enjoy. Only problem is it only seems to be on Fridays or Tuesdays :(

Then I found this, more expensive, but you can buy a DVD (for an extra £7.50 of course...) but its also a lot closer to me and easier to get to.

Live out your fantasies and try your hand at movie stunt driving

For the first time anywhere in the world you can be a movie stunt driver. Under the supervision of some of the best stunt drivers in the world you will be coached how to hit ‘marks’, precision reverse drive, perform 180s, doughnut turns and - the ultimate rush - crash the car like in the movies! And here's the best bit, it’s all filmed with mincams in the car, so afterwards you can let everybody know not to mess with you on the road.

Sessions begin at either 9.30am or 2pm and last 3 and a half hours. You should arrive at least 15 minutes before your start time. On arrival at the venue you will receive an introductory safety briefing and then it's into the cars to begin your movie stunt driving career under the supervision of some of the world's best drivers who have appeared in films such as Terminator III, Goldeneye and Die Another Day. You will be able to purchase a DVD recording of your experience.
Anyone done any of these or know of anymore?

Hi,

Yeah, it looks fun!

Worth doing too, I reckon, because you always learn some handy car control stuff to avoid crashing back on public roads.

That said, I expect StressedDave could organise something fairly similar on an airfield through Cadence for you. And throw in some roadcraft on the drive there to boot.

I did the ice driving trip with HPC a couple of years ago (reverse 180s and all the usual James Bond stunts). Absolutely fantastic!

If you do go stunt driving, make sure you let us know all about it

I did one at the start of this year with Russ Swift's son, Paul. It was in the car park at the back of the pits at Donnington.

It was a fantastic day, learned lots and had a load of fun.

I even came first in the little slalom/sprint comp at the end the day despite not being able to get the hang of doing 360s and 720s round a cone at all during the day. All seemed to come together when it mattered
