When I'm not being an advanced instructor, I help run the High Performance Club, an organisation dedicated to improving the driving standards of its members. Over the past year the Club has been working hard to document exactly what defines an entry-level member of the Club, together with what is required of the Club's higher awards. The first stage of this work is complete and the initial standards have been produced.

The Club is proud of this body of work and as a result we have decided to post the standards in the public domain. This appears to be something not present on either the IAM or RoADA websites (although I'm always happy to be corrected). Anyway, the standards can be found through the main HPC website at www.hpc.org.uk, or if you don't want to read any pre-amble, the direct link to the standards is www.hpc.org.uk/standards/index.html .

That's really splendid!

I shall read through carefully in due course and compare to what the IAM/RoSPA expects (from my own experience).
