Good evening all,

I've been looking at the car below for a while and can't help but be tempted!

What do you think? Potential bargain or potentially spending the value of it repairing?

I understand the error on dash to be a DPF fault, some saying a blast up the motorway will fix, some saying open the cheque book!

I know it's not got the winter pack and no leather but it keeps tempting me :/

Thoughts?

I think you'd be mad.

Not the desirable specification and its borked.

I'd go for a facelift with the euro 3 and SE spec and that money would get you into one.

There doesn't seem to be many around that haven't got mega miles. I know these run forever but I'll be doing a fair amount of miles myself so don't want one with loads on.

Am I right thinking that the Euro 4 comes in two forms, 160bhp, badged as 2.4D and then the 180bhp D5 both with DPF?

There's a nice Sport as linked below but had the Euro 4 160bhp I suspect and says it's an import with no mention of service history.

For example the car below is a 56 plate 2.4D, am I right assuming it's the 160bhp Euro 4?
