Hi All,

Anyone waiting for their XC60 for ages? I ordered a T5 Momentum in January through Select and am still waiting for a delivery date. It's slipped past two months now.

Cheers

Apparently there is a delay as they set up Factory for my19 and new emissions something something. I’m hearing if your car isn’t built before end June then it will be September delivery at the earliest
What deal did you get with select ?

Ah that sucks ass.

I am doing 9+23 @£365pm, it's a bit higher because I needed a Towbar and wanted the parking helper stuff and android.

Ah okay, well on the bright side you’re definitely getting a MY19 so extra standard equipment but hopefully a short waiting time

Can anyone point me in the direction of any good current lease deals on a XC60 T5 R Design (possibly Pro if the budget stretches)?

For anyone interested, I had a long run in the XC60 today. Halifax to Coventry and back. Eco mode on and breathing on the accelerator returned this....

...which is considerably better than the 26.7 mpg around town average. clap

Which is nice...

Just an FYI for anyone out there waiting on an XC60. Avoid Lex Auto like the bloody plague. My finance for the XC60 T5 was approved in January. It's now June, still no car. This is after I sold my BMW two months ago. Lex cancelled my previously approved finance because my credit score dropped a couple points in the interim time THEY were dicking around.

I am now without car and running around like an idiot looking for a stocker. (Select might have a nice black T5 up for grabs for someone though) Assholes.

No the T5 petrol. Town mpg is pants. Managed to eek out 38mpg at no more than 75 mph on a steady mway run.

Be interested to know what the D5 is like as an ownership proposition, especially with air suspension.

So, how’s everyone getting on with their XC? We’re still enjoying ours. Mpg is averaging 26.7 as the wife travels to and from work daily, 3 miles each way.

Anyone else frustrated with the rear parcel shelf yet?’

No issues to report. Seats are superb, stereo great and surprising turn of speed is useful. I think we will look to own one when our lease ends but choose one with a pano roof, 360 camera and front park.

Is the D4 powerful enough or do you really need to go D5?

We had a D4 R-Design (no extras) delivered back in Jan, that was ordered late November, and are enjoying it. Average over 5000 miles is only 34mpg or so - a lot of City driving though and then weekend trips up and down the motorway. At longer 75mph runs it would do better but the driving is too mixed to see the difference.

Few things I wonder if others can answer...

- Twice now at motorway cruising speed, both screens have gone blank for a second and then rebooted. Somewhat worrying to say the least. Anyone else had this and if so is there a fix at the dealer, software update etc? I've also noticed the maps don't always work properly and a wifi connection to my phone doesn't really seem to update anything on the car.

- Someone in this thread spoke of being able to control the heating before getting in the car - anyone figured this out on standard spec cars? I've noticed that when unlocking the car the fans will come on at full blast, then stop when the doors are opened. Assume this is some kind of air freshener feature.

- There is some kind of slot on the left of the volume dial, is this for a SIM card? What options does it open up, if any, on a standard build?

Thanks

depend what you want in the car but the 190hp in the D4 is adequate for us. Decent pull when needed. I do wonder if the increased power in the D5 would actually improve economy as the engine wouldn't be working as hard?!

So have done about 2500 miles since April - averaging 28mpg on the T5..

Enjoying the car and despite first thinking the seats seemed a little hard and thin I’ve found they actually provide a lot more support than other cars including my Lexus is250 and feel good even after long journeys ...

Have had one snag though - last couple of days the sat nav has gone haywire and can’t seem to find the cars location... did a reset on the sensus to factory settings and it’s made it worse as thinks the car is now in Sweden...

Trip to the dealer now seems in order..

My v90 satnav did the same after a couple of days of ownership. Reset sensus which sent me to Sweden. A week later and day before I was to take into dealer it fixed itself and has been ok since!

Has anyone any experience of the Polestar Performance option on the XC60?

Had the same thing after a ferry trip to the Isle of Wight, when it thought I was in the solent long after we landed, and then had me in Gothenburg after a reset. Needed a firmware upgrade apparently. It was a case of TADT sir, I think. Bit of a pain, but they cleaned it for me...
