I asked if it would be a plus MY20 car was told most defiantly not, dealer said only cars ordered April 1st onwards would be MY20 plus models, MY19 and MY20 will both be built for a while.
That sounds pretty conclusive. Boohoo frown

Picking up my V90 T5 Cross Country on Thursday. Coming out of a Golf R Estate being returned this Wednesday.

Should be quite a different driving experience which I am looking forward to. As soon as I pick it up, I am driving up to Snoxwdonia for the weekend, no doubt slowly with the Bank Holiday traffic!
Me too
Me three!
Could have picked it up tomorrow but we’re away.
A lot of the Santander CC’s seem to be coming through now - I’m half expecting to see a truck full of them in the yard when I get to the dealer!

There’s a few posts over on the main lease deals thread talking about some lease companies not allowing activation of ‘integrated services‘ features like live traffic updates and Volvo On-Call.

Anyone come across this issue with a Santander car?

I first noticed the service indicator coming on 30 days before the due date.

You can service the vehicle up to 30 days/1000 miles after the due date, even if you do this the service indicator could be showing when you hand back, so you may want to hand the car back a few days/week early to prevent this happening

I've had my collection authorised, ordered on the 30th Jan.

Waiting for car/dealer now. No idea if it's at the dealer/still coming/ready to go!

Whilst I'm not calling your dealer a liar, I can't envisage this at all.

There's a video on youtube somewhere of when they change over. Production line totally stops, get all the new parts ready, production line starts again. Whether this happens the same day, or production shuts down for an extended period of time I'm not sure but I can't see them producing both models together - sounds very messy.

For example, if this was the case, I'd be getting mine in my chosen colour (passion red) but was told that I'd have to settle for ice white as the only other free alternative as they've stopped supplying cars in that colour.

I'm pretty sure we'll end up with MY19 cars mind, not disputing that. I wonder if the Santander support was a way of filling those last order that dealers had spare.

No issues at all with this on my Santander lease. I had the full dealer experience as if I had been a cash or finance customer. They set the app up with me when I went to collect the car. They did get it wrong, and I had to activate it properly myself when I got home, but there were no restrictions at all.

Momentum Plus is MY 2020, spec here:

(You need to compare the 'standard features' to see the differences. Main differences are Fog Lights and Parking Camera on the Plus)

Mine is the MY 2019 Momentum - it does have the 12.3" TFT display as standard.
Many thanks for this - exactly what I was looking for. As you say, seems that the parking camera is the most significant difference. It would be nice to have this but if it’s the difference between getting a car in a few weeks rather than a few months..I’ll just have to see what’s available when I’m in a position to order.

My Volvo On-Call was set up yesterday by the [Volvo] salesman via the 'On-Call' button in the roof as we sat in the car on the forecourt.

I found a data-only SIM deal on Amazon for around £43 for 24GB over 24 months on the 3 network - this will cover the whole lease period.

I have just come out of a BMW 3-series that had a camera, but I had always reversed looking over my shoulder so found myself not really using the camera. The parking sensors [on the V90] give you a 'virtual' picture of the car when reversing anyway - more than good enough for me.

Mine didn’t know the M62 was closed at the weekend.

Am I doing something wrong?

Yes exactly same. Think the Sat Nav is working ok and responding to traffic - it suggests alternatives sometimes due to traffic issues.

If Santander keep going with these, might be able to order another one before the 18 months is up???

Would have been nice to have an overhead glasses holder built in like most other cars.

You need a data-only SIM in the 'standard' [ie large] size.
I got this one:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01M3VJ2B2/ref...

Alternatively, you can tether data via WiFi from your phone.

Three also offer 200MB of data for free each month - I've never run out of data yet on this, but I don't sit in the car for hours: three.co.uk/freedata

Tempted by the 24GB SIM suggested above for my iPad though, cheers Ascot17 biggrin
