I actually did and the wipers still don’t want to stay on auto.
Using the same key/profile every time?

I think the ambient lighting is only included above Momentum trim level. There's a small LED in the overhead console that illuminates the centre console.
I have an r design and still don’t notice it.
It's not really on par with Mercedes - seems to be only a couple of lights in several locations. Changed it to purple (from the blue I wanted) before I managed to notice it.

Thank god, I had an E-class as a courtesy car, and it was lit up like a tart's boudoir! yikes

What will happen if I don’t bother getting my Santander 18 month lease v90 serviced at all?

Will I just get fined the £100?
I was wondering about that too, that’s certainly the way the contract appears to be worded. Anyone fancy testing it?

They would probably just add it on the damage invoice at the end of contact. So it'd be cost of service wherever they fancy doing it, plus the £100 for not getting it done.

Plus you'd have the car nagging you constantly no doubt.

I’ve been on the Isle of Mull for a few days. Definitely V90 (and particularly CC) country; I even followed a 68 plate T5 like a convoy for a good few miles from Inveraray on the way up.

I hadn’t realised how tapered the V90 is - not as practical as the old 740!

It would be unfair as a warranty term if you owned the car, but as the car belongs to Santander it's a different matter.
Not necessarily - doesn't matter who owns the car - is the level of service suitable and sufficient to meet the needs of the service ? In all probability yes.

How do you find them?

I always thought the auto wipers in cars I had were a bit iffy because of their age but the ones on my S90 are possibly the most inconsistent of any car I've had!

Despite 6 sensitivity settings it very rarely hits the goldielocks zone, more often than not it's too fast or too slow, a bit annoying to be honest.

Great photo! The tapering does affect large boxy load carrying now and again.
I also noticed plenty of V90s and V90 CCs when I was around those parts of Scotland earlier this year, XC70s too.

I've had a van driver hit my v90, no fault claim has been filed and he has admitted responsibility. The insurance has sent over a list of repair shops.
I haven't had to do this for a lease so could anyone help with the following questions.

1. Do I need to make stoneacre Volvo OR Santander aware of the damage/repair?
2. Do I need to select a repair shop that is specifically Volvo approved? Or would it be ok to select any from the list supplied? The Volvo approved repair shop is the furthest from me.

I can't seem to find my contract to read through so thought I'd ask. Much appreciated.

Only bit I can see is this..
4.4.8. we are advised as soon as is reasonably practicable of
any accident to the vehicle and given such details of the
accident as we request;

After a boy racer did this to mine, I used the Volvo approved repairer, I wasn't going to take the risk of further charges on return.

Thanks, I'm thinking the same.
Did you notify the financer of the damage, accident or repair?

I've used a lot more potent stuff than that from Gtechniq and it's the dogs bks. I've always been too lazy to use again, suppose I should.

Rain x stays on for far less time than rain wizard used to.
Think there was an issue with the packaging though as they don’t sell it any more.

Picked up the v90 CC T5 today standard spec in osmium grey and with black interior with metal inlays. It drives fine managed 33mpg from Newcastle all the way up the A68 in eco mode. Found it really easy to drive and you forget how big it is.

Lots of room inside. Will be a nice place to be for 18 months.

Rang my insurance company today as car delivered in two weeks. Coming from an S4 I was expecting a bit less than the £450 I’m paying now. Delivery date is renewal day- deliberately to avoid charges. Surprised to hear her say “an additional £275 yikes

I reminded her that this was a renewal and not a change and it was just £275 for the year.
clap

A quick question. Is Emergency Brake assist found on the momentum plus actual braking for you, or does it just brake harder if it thinks you’re being a bit pussy footed?
