Excluding the soon top be replaced V40, Volvo now has the best looking range of cars of all mass market manufacturers.
Anyone disagree?
Nope they are all utterly fantastic, I love the low wide bonnet and how unchintzy theu are, the last s60/v60 was also a looker too, Mazda aren’t far behind either! Anyone disagree?

Well tbh the V40 is hardly a minger is it? Long in the tooth perhaps...
Eye of the beholder and all that... but I think the V40 still looks the best in its (admittedly not that impressive-looking) class.I imagine that Volvo have sussed out their market well and have nailed their current generation. Most people with a family and a dog will want one of these, a V90 or an XC90.
I hope that the balance between style and load bay has been addressed; the current V60's load bay is smaller than many large hatches and the S60's wouldn't trouble its current V40 sibling. That was the single biggest factor that stopped me buying the current version of the V60.

Agreed. They don't make a bad looking car IMHO.Anyone disagree?
A colleague has just taken delivery of an S90 in black, and it's a lovely looking thing.

Yup. I'm up for a car just like that, but NOW.
I had the V90 out for a day, and I just don't need that big a car.....
But this V60 won't be with us - at any deal at least until the turn of the year. Delivery likely 12mo from now in reality
I’m led to believe by a Volvo dealer that September this year is a very real possibility for cars starting to appear, after a dealer launch event in June. I had the V90 out for a day, and I just don't need that big a car.....

Agree entirely.Anyone disagree?
Also the fact that this V60 can be had as a 400bhp hybrid helps!
I think if Volvo manage to effectively get the hybrid thing sorted before others, they will do very well in the transition to full electric.
