Does anyone know what the process is after placing an order with Santander? We have had confirmation that the credit check has gone through, but heard nothing since.
You should have got a message asking you to agree to the terms and state that you want to proceed with the order. Once it's confirmed, they place the order with the dealer, and they get back to you when they have a delivery date. Witchfinder said:

As above I was a tad nervous too comparing the lack of paperwork and hassle with my current lease and so asked for clarification when I received my delivery date email. I was told there is more stuff to do but closer to the time I pick up and not to worry. So I didnt

Waiting for a V90 here through Santander
Santander called me this morning and said the dealer had modified a car in their build queue to meet my spec, so I can have it in November, rather than the predicted January. Result. Once they have a build date, they said they'd prep the paperwork, probably around mid October.Better get selling my A7!

Has anyone driven one yet or even received their car?
Just started the ordering process this week (fusion red momentum T5 with city weave) and have read many of the (pretty much universally positive) reviews, but not found any reviews by normal customers yet.
I'm also interested to hear some 'real world' reviews, specifically on how the T5 lump performs.Just started the ordering process this week (fusion red momentum T5 with city weave) and have read many of the (pretty much universally positive) reviews, but not found any reviews by normal customers yet.

Been looking at xc40 t5 reviews this evening (as far as I can tell it comes with the same GPF fitted engine) and it seems performance is decent and it's quiet, but the economy doesn't look amazing (hopefully the v60 will be a bit better with better aero and slightly lower mass)
Isn't the XC40 also 4WD? bomster said:

Isn't the XC40 also 4WD? Got my order in today. They said maybe early Feb, though tbc by dealer.

Had quotes through this afternoon and prices appear to have changed significantly. At 8k/yr v60 T5 momentum was £356, r design £412 and inscription £427(10k/yr). Kicking myself for not getting quotes before the end of quarter - I should know better??
You can get the V90 and S90 T4 for less than that! Got to be worth a look.S90 seems to be about 250ish a month amortised, which is very good. Arguably a better spec in some respects too, with pilot assist and (I think) heated leather as standard, though the momentum cloth is part of the appeal to me and obviously the s90 misses out in the estateyness part.

Anyone moved to the next stage of the ordering/delivery process?
My delivery has been pushed back to 'early November'. Pushed them for a delivery date (or even week) but they couldn't give me that.
Not sure how much longer my gf's 1999 VW lupo can hold on for!
As per my post in the V90 forum, ask for the supplying dealer and then speak to themMy delivery has been pushed back to 'early November'. Pushed them for a delivery date (or even week) but they couldn't give me that.

My experience was utterly positive with accurate tracking from manufacture to delivery day
Cheers
