XC90 (2016) Accessories for Large Dog (currently pup)

Hi,
Can anybody point me in the right direction / share experiences re sensible accessories for dog owning XC90 drivers please?

Dog in question will be pretty big when fully grown so some of the cages that split the boot in half will probably result in too small a space. Thinking i’ll just need something to protect boot space and protect against rear passengers being covered in slobber.

Interested to hear of experiences re roof boxes for lugging luggage as well. Unlikely to fit much in the boot with the dog..!

Can't comment on the xc90 specifically but for our xc60 we have a

Have a look at http://www.safedog.co.uk/.
There are advantages in keeping your dog in a cage as it that stops the dog jumping out of the car into oncoming traffic etc. These cages have been crash tested.
