Thought I'd start a new thread for anyone taking up the Volvo V60 on a lease.

I myself have gone for the V60 CC T5. Having previously had the V90 D4.
Looking forward to having a quieter and more refined engine. The V90 was nice but boy is the engine rough and found the noise intrusive

Feel free to keep each other posted on expected delivery times.

You're not alone, I ordered a CC, but D4 (not ready to give up diesel torque). Ordered end of last month hoping for end of October delivery, but current prediction is end of the first week of November.

Interested in this thread, my aging V50 (12 reg 203K miles) is due for replacement, be interesting to see what high mileage deals pop up. Just bagged a V40 for the Mrs though on the 0% APR PCP on offer at the moment!!

The torque will certainly be missed. I've always preferred diesel and the torque. I held off going for the T4 V90 and V60 as I wasn't keen on having a heavy car with that lower powered engine.
I'm hoping the T5 will be a good swap. Economy will be poor and it seems to be getting mixed reviews on certain threads and forums. I didn't have time to take one out for a test drive so fingers crossed it will be ok.

Keen to hear anyone who has experience of the T4, T5 and D4 engines.

I managed to get an order in before the deal got pulled. Application was accepted yesterday so now just need to pay the admin fee to get an order placed.

I really like the new Volvo range and went to test drive one yesterday. It was a V60 T5 but R Design as they didn't have any CC in stock. Really impressed with the interior etc and the engine was smooth too.

I'm having second thoughts now re the CC - I just think it looks a bit strange as it sits higher. If the deal was for the R Design I wouldn't give it a second thought but I just can't take a liking to the CC. I know its all subjective and each to their own. My current lease doesn't go back until April next year so I still have some time but also worried that I'll regret not going for this.

Ahhhh decisions decisions...
I quite like the slightly odd, possibly arachnid like, stance (or should that be lack of stance). For me it had to be the CC as it didn't have low profile tyres and gave the option of a light interior with the multi-adjustable seats. AWD is a handy bonus as well.

I tried a T4 in XC40, it was responsive and linear. If I wasn't used to diesel torque it would be more than acceptable.

I signed up for one of these yesterday having lurked on the leasing thread for a very long time.

It's the best value car in my price range that I have seen in ages and pretty much exactly what I was looking for!

I drove an S90 with the T5 engine in the US for about 2000 miles earlier this year and thought it was excellent, fuel economy was better than I was expecting from it, can't remember the numbers now...

I've got a V90 CC T5, it certainly picks up and goes, overtakes are effortless. I've done 3,500 miles so far at an average of 27.4 mpg. However most of these are 5 mile journeys to/from work. When it's been on a long run, around 37 mpg has been achieved, which isn't bad for a big awd bus.

Just a heads up for some of you who may have placed an order with iCarlease for the V60 T5 CC.

Debbie just rang saying the funder has agreed for some of the cars to be offered with free metallic paint option. Something about not wanting lots of cars coming back with stock black or white colours.

The quote remains the same with no additional cost.
I've opted to switch from Ice white to Birch light.

It seems Volvo are loving every shade of grey at the moment. Not much colour choice although I do dare someone to opt for maple brown!

Debbie is working her way through the list so hopefully you can expect a call soon.

I'm nearly a year into an 18 month V60 T5 lease from Santander. Got it in November I think so about 8 months to go.

At what point do I look at ordering another? I'd be happy with the V60 at the same price but doubt that will happen! But I'll look for the deal rather than the car, but will need something similar.

Just not how early to start looking...

I'd say start looking now - 6 months is about right.

I got the same call from Debbie and happened to be in the volvo showroom having a look.

Ended up going for the red with blonde interior with the tinted windows.

There really isn't much in the way of bright colours. The denim blue is super dark and all the greys, bar Osium, had various tinges of gold and brown.

Asked for January delivery, although would prefer into Feb as we're away most of January.

After lurking for a long time, this deal came up and I went for it. First time leasing.
V60 CC T5 in Denim Blue, charcoal interior, with the reversing camera fitted. Aiming for late December delivery.
Paid the arrangement fee on Friday, Debbie and the iCarLease team have been good to deal with.

After all my umming and arring I pulled the trigger this morning :-)

V60 Cross Country T5
Osmium Grey
19" 5 Double Spoke (Diamond Cut/Matt Graphite) with 235/45 Tyres
Power Child Locks Rear Doors
£322.66

Great to see that Volvo don't charge you the full whack for options unlike other manufacturers. For example the wheels are £550 and the power child lock is £80 but as you can see I'm only paying £22.66 extra a month for both those options.
What timeframe is that on? 1+17 ??

I’ve requested delivery for April as that’s when my current lease goes back but I think they can arrive as early as December - it’s the deal through iCarLease on a 1+23

Thanks! Sounds good. Guess you might want to try and avoid the second service at 24 months which I believe is pretty expensive.

mini thread revival...

I pulled the trigger on a V60 this week, first time leasing and it looks like we were a little late to the party as pretty much everything shot up after September...

However, managed to get £359 flatlined (18 month) on a T4 R Design in Fusion Red from Santander, which I'm very happy with. Also, as it's first time leasing for us, more comfortable with 18 months to see if we get on with it (also avoids 2nd service and in all likelihood, tyre replacement)..

Only downer is mid Jan delivery... its going to be a looooong winter.
