Ordered mine end of August, looks like it's going to arrive on the 25th of this month.

Got a S60 T5 R-Design Edition spec about 3 weeks ago on an 18 month lease, replaced the previous S60 T4 SE Nav edition that was also on an 18 month lease as that just went back.

Very much liking the new car, leagues ahead of the old shape but I do miss the simplicity of the old one!

Nice! The launch editions got snapped up quick from memory. I know its still early days but how you finding the T5 vs T4?

Engine wise a bit difficult to compare directly as the T4 was manual and the T5 is auto, but the T5 is certainly a lot more punchy and seems smoother on the power uptake despite the extra power but this may just be the auto box.

T5 currently averaging 24mpg and the T4 when went back was doing nearly 40 so needs to change a bit on that side!

Yes I collected it last Friday. Didn't get much of a chance to drive it or learn how to decipher the controls and settings over last weekend. The plan was to get more get more familiar with it driving across country on Monday. However this was rather scuppered by it giving me a shed load of warning messages, just as I got up to cruising speed on the A14 (Engine, Engine, Transmission, Wipers, Brakes and Steering). It seemed to be driving all right but I pulled into the next service area, where it locked itself in park. I then spent 7 hours there, waiting a couple of hours for the mobile tech to make several fruitless attempts to interrogate the OBD and reboot it. Then a further couple of hours waiting for it to be recovered. As it couldn't be locked it couldn't taken straight to the dealers, eventually turning up there 2PM the next day.

They finally traced the problem Thursday afternoon (disconnected earth adjacent to the ECU). So I collected it today, then a couple of miles after setting off it started whinging about the Blind Spot warning system needing service. The dealer were slightly surprised to see again so soon. Apparently the system needed re-calibration after the total system powering down.

Hopefully better luck next week as I've got an early start on Monday. But at least I should be able to get some photos by then, I should have taken some whilst I was waiting in the service station on Monday.

Wow! Not a great start :-(

Fingers crossed this gets sorted and you have trouble free motoring for the rest of the lease!

I wouldn't worry too much though as it sounds like a software issue rather than mechanical. I'm sure I read in the other Volvo forum someone experiencing something similar. Also you'll have a period of time to reject the car if they can't fix it or you aren't happy with the situation but don't quote me on that as I'm no expert but again just remember reading something along those lines in of the forums on here.

Hope it all gets sorted ASAP for you though.

Managed to make it across country this morning, longest journey it has ever done. Fortunately when it went wrong last week I was travelling at midday, it was an early start this morning.

Should be able to manage it later - it's the time of year when I don't see it often in daylight.

Shame the leases on the V60 CC get expensive when you state you want to do 20k/year

Pebble grey, not quite the metallic beige of a previous car, more of a champagne.

The weekly email from TCH for my Volvo V60 cc deal with iCarlease now shows a delay in expected deliver date
Originally anticipated delivery date was 6
9th December
Now the estimated delivery date is 6th January.
No idea how accurate this is.

I had a call from iCarlease earlier this month explaining that Volvo had built the original white coloured cars which were ready to take if we wanted to accept this as per the original order. If I wanted to keep with the revised free metallic paint option they will still go ahead and build but may mean a slight delay.
