This seems to be on 10k per year and includes VAT.
Seems a very good deal, 18 months means you only need to have it serviced once.

Curious to know what I'd be charged by iCarlease if I cancel the v60 cc order seeing as paperwork was signed a while ago.
The S60 deal would have been perfect for me, especially as v60 has been pushed back to January at the earliest.

The weekly email from TCH for my Volvo V60 cc deal with iCarlease now shows a delay in expected deliver date
Originally anticipated delivery date was 6
9th December
Now the estimated delivery date is 6th January.
No idea how accurate this is.

I had a call from iCarlease earlier this month explaining that Volvo had built the original white coloured cars which were ready to take if we wanted to accept this as per the original order. If I wanted to keep with the revised free metallic paint option they will still go ahead and build but may mean a slight delay.
So I was only notified of this delay earlier this week, and then only because I was chasing confirmation of delivery date myself.

Not great communications.

Picked mine up 3 weeks ago; 1 year old D4 Momentum Plus with every option box ticked. Had to have a new windscreen fitted less than 24 hours after collection after a massive stone got thrown up, but these things happen. Well chuffed with it so far.

My V60 cc T5 (iCarlease deal) was delivered on 7th Jan. I've only had a chance to potter around the city in it. No motorway driving just yet.

I'll try to add some photos, hopefully they'll show.
It's the v60 cc T5 in birch with blonde interior.

A couple of things I like compared to the previous v90 D4 I had;

Positives so far;
The ride in the V60 cc is much silkier and smoother than the R-Design V90. Suspension in the v60 in much better tackling bumps and road imperfections.

The car feels lighter in all aspects. Steering is very light.

The T5 is obviously much smoother and quieter than the rough and grumbling D4 engine. T5 seems to suit this car making it a more relaxing drive.

Gearbox seems much more responsive and less jerky at lower revs coming to a stop and moving off from standstill.

Keyless entry. I hadn't optioned this and had no idea the car had this as standard. Never fond of this due to security concerns but it has proved convenient to have.

Front and rear parking sensors. The v90 only had rear.

Auto dipping side mirrors when reversing. Didn't spec these.

Auto tailgate boot opening and closing with swipe of your foot. I didn't option this so is a nice touch.

Lock car when closing the boot button on the tailgate. Didn't option this either but a nice useful thing to have.

Extra 'Lifestyle' key that comes as a 3rd key. Small to carry with you if needed. Although I haven't got any idea how to lock the car with this as there are no buttons. Seems to open the car just fine.

Auto driver's seat. With memory functions. Hadn't optioned this and was expecting manual like the v90.

2 usb slots in the centre arm rest cubby. V90 only had 1 slot.

Dislikes;
The rear parcel shelf was automatic on the v90. It's manual on the v60 meaning you have to faff around with it each time you want to put anything meaningful in the boot.

No boot floor flip up divider in the v60. This was in the v90 and helped keep things separate and from crashing around.

I feel I will miss the ACC and assisted hands off steering that was standard on the v90 R-Design.

Ugly looking TCH leasing windscreen pouch stuck on in the corner.

Manual rear seat fold downs in the v60. The v90 had electronic buttons in the boot. Found this helpful and easier when lugging around large or long items.

Issues;
I've messed around with the driver profiles but for some reason the car will not comply with the following setting.
Auto turn on heated seats
Auto turn on heated steering wheel
I can select them but they do not auto turn on when the car is started. This however did work on day 1 for the first few starts but has not worked since.

The car had a random parking sensor blocked message today even though the sensors were all clean. Sorted itself out eventually.

Tap the outside edge of the door handle

- the same works with your normal keys as well .. you shouldn't have to be using the buttons on the remote at all - i use this method as you need to be closer to the car .. so im assuming less chance for the signal be intercepted

The lifestyle key doesn't appear in my lease paperwork .- i only need to return two keys . ( i guess since the battery isn't replaceable so its a disposable item ) so its my default key as its smaller , waterproof and if i lose it then im not forking out for replacement

Thanks for that, it works! Bulky key swapped over for slimline lifestyle key.

I also forgot to mention that it comes with the bendy corner headlights, which are useful.

I might be wrong, but I though both of these items were standard on all V60s? Certainly the dozen or so I looked at a few months back all had the flip-up divider and the buttons for the seats are at the rear, right-hand side of the boot.

No, that comes as part of the £350 "comfort" pack which includes the electric flip down headrests, boot divider, net map pockets and a 3 pin socket in the back of the centre console.

I've just ordered a V60 XC T5 for delivery in March. Very much looking forward to getting it to replace our ageing XC70 D5.

T5 V60 from Santander going back end of May. Can extend for 28 days on a daily rate which is equivalent to the currently monthly rate. Still not found a replacement. Debating whether to pick up an offer on something before end of March rather than wait and send the V60 back early paying 50% of the remaining 2 months. Not in a rush though as can have a gap at the end of June if needs be.

Lost my credit card in the V60! Put it at the front centre console and it slipped under the plastic! Tried to retrieve but only went further in! Someone someday may find it I guess, but was easier to just cancel and get a replacement...

I’ve been leasing a S60 T5 RDesign launch edition since September 2019 - it replaced a costly to maintain 2014 BMW 330D Xdrive.

It is super comfortable and the engine / auto box combo is very smooth. We all know how great Volvo seats are and the interior is amongst the best of the premium brands. Managed to get mid range Harmon Kardon stereo which is also a quality upgrade.

I have the metallic red on 19s and I think the looks are great - 4 door coupe ish. Interior room generous especially for full sized adults.

Performance is very brisk but also deceptive - less initial punch than a diesel but much quicker in actuality. Putting it into Dynamic mode really makes a big difference in terms of initial launch and for instant overtaking. Engine can get a bit strained over 4500 rpm so better off using the close ratios and slugs of torque between 2500 and 4500 rpm.

Economy wise - it is OK - I can get 42 mpg on my mixed commute - but have to be in eco and drive very cautiously. Though on longer runs drive up to 70 and thinking ahead should get 40 mpg. Press on “dynamically” and this will soon drop to 30-33 mpg - I guess not bad for performance on offer and to hustle what is a heavy car. I it is very rapid when need be. It’s in its element as a rapid fast A road and motorway mile muncher.

It handles well enough to hustle down a B road, though is no hot hatch ofc. If you want super smooth ride head for the CC or Inscription/Momentum trims - but the RDesign is never uncomfortable.

As with all of us it’s been sitting on the front drive a lot in the last month - no need to fret about excess mileage charges !

Any other questions let me know.

Lease is up in 12 months - was disappointed to hear of refinement issues on D4 as I was considering V60 CC D4 next.........would the XC60 be better insulated from the engine?

Has anyone extended with Santander in the last few weeks? My v60 due for return in June and I could do with extending 6 months. Last time I spoke to them (pre c-19) they said you could only extend for 28 days.

I don't find the D4 in my V60 CC unrefined, not as tuneful as the previous 5 cylinder, but fine. When I tried a current XC60 I don't recall the engine noise / refinement being much different. Might be worth trying it, if you find it a problem it will soon become apparent.

"My" new car is sitting at the dealer and has been for a month. They aren't delivering anything right now, the broker mentioned that for those people who have leases that are coming up to the end, the lease companies are more than happy to extend them, as otherwise they would be taking back a car (if they can even do that right now) and there is no where for it to then go. The auctions are all closed and no-one is buying cars for stock anyway, so it is much better for them that the car continues to pay it's way rather than sit in storage costing them money. You could even make them a cheeky offer and I suspect they may take it...
