Front seat replacement 52 V70

Drivers seat is showing its age for 220k miles Stitching gone along the RH bolster and lots of cracks etc

Got a decent replacement along with a woolies colour kit.

Question is this

Are there airbags in the seat and if so what precautions do i have to do when changing them over.

Have heard horror stories on steering airbags going of and would like to be forewarned

From what I am aware of.

Aim to get some seats out of a similar age car, so the airbags and wiring should generally be the same.

Disconnect the battery 15mins before unplugging the seat plugs.

They are bloody heavy!

Mike it was a mk2 version so should be ok

And Agree abouttheweight.. BUT the rear seat ones are made of of the heaviest metal known to man, nearly got a hernia taking out the 2 seater bit, The rear seat backs however are lightweight!!
