To be fair, black circles want £112 a corner for those, as opposed to £77 for the GY. For another £70 per axle I’d want that extra mileage out of them!
For some reason I’m quite adverse to Pirelli after a bad wet weather experience with some P600s many years ago... I’m sure they’ve come on well since then smile
P6000s on the back of my NA MX5 nearly killed me, they were horrendous and the car would do massive slides at walking speeds. THey were great on the front of my V70 though, to my enormous surprise.

With that price difference I'd get the Goodyear.

Just had a set of barely used (>1000 mile) Toyo T1-R fitted to the V70 this morning to replace the awful set of miss matched & old tyres on when I bought it, seems the sensible thing to do as I have two sets of them barley used that were summer tyres in storage for two written off cars in January, I liked them as a true on the Alfa(s), will let you know how they are on the big swede dog wagon

Hi all,
Out of interest, what speed & load rating do you go for?

I go for 94 load. I think 91 is acceptable and standard fit (I stand to be corrected) but I’ve always preferred the 94 for the stiffer sidewall.
Speed rating generally is V. I think I’ve had a set of W in the past but that’s largely pointless, I think they were cheaper. V is for upto 149mph which should be ample for a V70 smile
