Volvo S60 T8 Hybrid 155 or 112 mph

I’ve just put a deposit for a S60 T8 Hybrid, I managed to find a 70 Plate registered in December 2020 with 2k miles so more or less new. I thought that this might be restricted to 112mph, however dealer let’s me it a model year 2020 so capable of 155mph, I’m not so sure, is it true that 112mph came to all cars with MY 21? I can only think that it’s an older car they didn’t register for a while. Any way I can tell?

Anyone got the T8 Hybrid? Was black only available as a metallic colour? The adverts gone now and I didn’t ask.

I have a V60 T8 Polestar Engineered.

I has 3 keys one Black, one Orange and a service key. I was informed by the delivery driver that the Black one is supposed to not limit the speed, but like you I couldn't get a clear answer from the dealer.

However I think the info I was given by the delivery driver may be correct.

My wife’s 2021 XC60 T6 Recharge is unlimited using the black key. On the autobahn, it is quite happy up to around 240kph after which it struggles a bit. The orange key limits the speed to 180kph on derestricted sections and much more annoyingly to any speed limit detected by the camera or navigation.
