Hi all, I am having some bother with my 740. It is a 2.3 dohc engine and i have just rebuilt the head and replaced the head gasket. I have got it started but it revs to almost 2000rpm and then cuts out, catches again and then keeps on. Its as if i was moving the throttle up and down very fast.Vroom Vroom Vroom Vroom.
There are some sensors just under the inlet manifold I have 3 sets of plugs on the loom.9All very similar and only two places to plug them in.
When it idles it is smooth.
