Next years Technic models are looking pretty impressive.
Excellent info. Care to offer a link for those who aren't impressed by those who like to claim to know more than others by dint of mysterious posts on the internet?

I got excited about the yacht but it’s going to be a fairly small set so at least I can justify they to the Mrs. The Mack truck on the other hand looks great but expensive.

I like the amount of Lego system bricks used for detail on the Mack truck. Shades of Model Team in the subject matter and style.

The Mack looks amazing. Such a great looking kit.

Want the Mack, the rally car, the racing yacht & the hovercraft.

Such much better than this years piss poor efforts - apart from the superb Saturn V.

Thanks, a link always helps. More so than my snide comment perhaps.

The Mack looks good, but no sign of power functions frown

I got a £50 voucher for Amazon from work this week which is a perfect excuse to get some free Lego! Anyone got any recommendations at that price point or is it worth putting this towards a bigger set?

The only Technic set I have bought recently is the Arocs which was great fun to build.

Claas Tractor seems well liked. https://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-42054-Technic-XERION...

Maybe wait a few weeks? New technic stuff is coming up, and if you are OK with a bit style over substance, the new wave has a pretty cool rally (slightly pike's peak-ish) car (it is a tad light on technic functions, but nothing that cant be fixed by some modding), google 42077

Interesting - I'll have a quick read through the news online to see what's coming

Tractor looks good but it's around £120.

The other option (non technic) is the caterham. Enjoyed building the f40

Is there a demand for second hand sets sold without the boxes?

No room to put this little lot.

For anyone who has experience of selling Lego, would you sell as a lot or individually?

I would sell individually but all at the same time
Print the instructions from the internet if you dont have them and offer discount on postage and postage to anywhere in world. Take them apart to post.

And take really good photos and be honest if anything missing etc..

I'd sell it as individuals, as anyone who might want them all is someone who can't afford them (like me!), or someone who wants to resell and will want them cheap. Any serious collector likely to buy that many kits will probably have the recent ones already unfortunately.

If had had a spare few hundred quid I'd have the lot off you, I've only got the crane already out of that!
