Seems an odd choice after the GT3.
That’s my thoughts too! Might look nice next to the GT3 though!
Was chatting to PH’s favourite Lego supplier earlier... he pointed out that the price bracket the GT3 and Bugatti are in mean they’re for the hardcore enthusiast. The have fancy packaging and lots of features / parts.

The RSR is closer to the “normal” price range and will therefore sell in greater numbers.

I read the headline and went: woohoo

I then saw the pictures and went: frown

I then saw the projected selling price and thought it’s highly probably you’ll be able to pick it up for £100 before long and went: scratchchin

Wait till Friday morning and take your pick? Or will anything on Amazon now not go lower?

Although it’s a different scale so I’m not sure it would.

The 911RSR wheels are too small, and the lights comically big. Looks like a frog. Plus you can shop around for the GT3 at not far off the RSR price?

Still its better than the balls-up they've made of the Corvette. ;(

Nope it's the real, official Lego set. I kid you not.

Bought the crane off Amazon today £139.99 inc. delivery (-£5 from the remains of an old voucher). So you can laugh at me on Friday when it’s down to £100.

Surely can’t go much lower for the biggest Technic set ever - plus a motor)confused

Going from my experience and knowledge of cost prices it shouldn’t go much lower than that! Typically the big guys discount these large sets to just under the cost price and it levels out - it’s at that level already. So unless a retailer has several thousand pcs and are desperate to get cash back then I reckon it’s nearly at the bottom.
Either way I think it’s absolutely stupid, I was selling dozens a week just a month ago at £200!

Thanks for the info ! I bought it based on what I thought was an extremely low price just for the amount of parts, never mind the crane itself - and it’s almost £100 less than at the Lego store. In all honesty if it goes a bit lower I won’t be too gutted; and if it goes significantly lower then...I’d be surprised. Better to get it now rather than wait for it to go up.

So, thats made me look stupid. Absolutely ridiculous deal for you guys - but from my side absolutely stupid. Why so cheap... thats nearly £50 cheaper than trade and a massive pain in the ass when I have >£30,000 of them sat in the warehouse.

Been lurking for a while on this thread to see what the fuss is all about.

At that price it’s straight in my basket & I look forward to my first Technic build over Christmas.

Cheers all!!

Fair play - it’s a mega bargain. I think I’ll have another at that price.
