I have it at home, well, instructions and the bits, but no box sadly. I have loads of the early '80's technic stes, but no boxes.
I don’t keep boxes, I’d love to but simply don’t have the space. Built up the old Technic set today. Really nice build, brings back some memories. Much less simplistic instructions - most steps require multiple pieces and working out where they all go, compared to the modern step by step, 2 or 3 bits at a time approach.
And the box becomes the latest addition to my retro wall!

Yes that’s very cool :-)Loving the simplistic frames for all the items - clean and tidy
Has anyone else built the Chiron? I started it today, and I've found a problem while I'm still on the first bag of parts.
In steps 26-40, you build two identical assemblies for the front suspension. When you build these assemblies, there's a small beam that's added on one side. Later on, the instructions show that on one half of the suspension the small beam has moved to the other side.
Should I take it apart and rebuild one of the suspension assemblies so that it matches the later instructions?

It doesn't look like many people have spotted that mistake. In steps 26-40, you build two identical assemblies for the front suspension. Thanks. I did try googling it, but missed that as most of the results were about the suspension sagging under the weight of the car. As you say, it looks like it doesn't matter. They have here though
