Had a load of emails from you guys... some of you have unsubscribed others have been removed from our lists due to no engagement with previous emails.

If you want to get back on the list, please visit our website and sign up in the Newsletter box at the bottom of the homepage.

If you are interested in the email sent this week, then here is it. Nothing PH related, just a little push for Technic kits.

I have the 42039 24hrs Le Mans car sitting in the cellar, I fancy pulling that apart and rebuilding it, it's been a while since I even looked at it.
Try this if you do pull it apart.

So I am able to buy one Lego kit too keep me amused when we go into lockdown - can’t decide between the Lunar Lander or the car transporter (which is down to £98.00 in Smyths).

I wanted the International Space Station but it’s out of stock at Lego.

I can’t comment on the transporter but the lunar lander is outstanding.

Once you've finished it, what are you going to do during the remaining 98 days? hehe

I have built both and I’d probably go for the lunar lander, although the transporter takes longer to build if you want to stretch the time out smile

I was a bit underwhelmed with the ISS if I'm honest.

My kids were looking for a Lego creator set to make with me and said the ISS looked rubbish. We’ve done loads of them in the past. I was quite surprised TBH.

Why not get a massive Technic set and limit yourself to a couple of pages of instructions a day (this is the Technic thread after all)? The kids and I built the Rough Terrain Crane 42082 last year and it took a while. Nice model to play with too.

If you do the man maths and divide the cost by building hours, its a no-brainer!

I do have a stash of some older large Technic kits.

Trouble she doesn’t know about them as I have them well hidden. Might be tricky trying to explain where they have come from!!!

That's a shame, sure it's not the most complex of kits and doesn't take long to build but I think it's stunning and is very representative of the actual ISS smile

Looks great sat next to my Saturn V

I tried that line when she found the 22 pairs of trainers I had amassed. Didn’t work!!!

The ISS looks really good - I’m not sure about the Lunar Lander which is why I haven’t, yet, bought it.

I think that I might end up with the car transporter simply because I can’t find an ISS. There are some on fleabay but stupid prices being asked.
