£239.99 at Amazon at the moment, same at John Lewis when you get the £40 code off £279.99.
Still not quite cheap enough for me yet.
Its a good price. How low did the Bugatti get?£239.99 at Amazon at the moment, same at John Lewis when you get the £40 code off £279.99.

I gave in on the Bugatti on Amazon Prime Now at £175, however when it arrived, they had just shipped the box with a label slapped on. I gave them a call and was going to ask them to send another, however they said they would be able to replace or refund some of the cost.
So I asked how much to be refunded whilst thinking I'll just ask for another, however when they said £73 or so I said ok, I'll take the refund thanks. Can't argue at £102 for a £330 set just because part of the box is ripped.
However I still haven't built either so no rush on the Sian, I think Amazon may reduce the Liebherr to £199.99 for black friday, so I may go with that as my Christmas gift, however if the Sian creeps near £200 I may go for that instead.
Sadly I'm quite out of love with Technic. I just did the Volvo Hauler and yes it's a nice model, but it's all a bit samey now - build diffs, build clever gearbox, build the same set of pistons as the last model...
For me things like the Haunted House, Rollercoaster and Fiat 500 are much more satisfying now.
So I've ordered the Batwing

On the amazon cheap offerings for Lego I’ve seen 2 prices one appears to be new “paper” bags and the other appears to be normal.
So does anyone know what that really means? Is it a much less impressive box or simply one box has plastic bags the other paper - though can not comprehend why paper bags over plastic would be so much cheaper.

Lego are moving the internal packaging to paper rather than plastic bags so that may be what they mean.So does anyone know what that really means? Completed the Lamborghini Sian today. Was a fantastic build, so many creative building techniques go into the different angles and ways the body panels and parts of the car intersect with each other. I have no idea how the designer had the inspiration to come up with it. It has now been added to my collection on the staircase.

I really want the Sian however after 7 months off work & with zero income I’m not sure that I can justify spending £250ish on what the other half calls ‘annoying plastic bricks!!!’Starfighter said:
Rosco, how you do the wall mounts for the cars?
All I have done is put a rawlplug in the wall with a large screw and they fit perfectly onto them. Easy lifted on and off for playing with (cleaning). The difficult part was working out where the screws would go in the wall so the cars lined up.RosscoPCole said:

The Ducati too? I've got all the cars on the wall with a single screw but the Ducati is proving more tricky.........esuuv said:

I've got all the cars on the wall with a single screw but the Ducati is proving more tricky.........A couple of mug hooks and a extra Technic bracket attached to the bottom of the Ducati. That was the tricky one. Took a few attempts before I figured out this solution. I used two mug hooks so it would hang straight all the time.

I've not visited the Glasgow transport museum. I went to the old one as a child.
I was inspired by a memory from an Autosport International show in the late 1990s where they had a wall with all the F1 cars of that season hung on it. Since I bought the F1 Ferrari in 2006 it has always been hung on the wall.
