Good price (relativelty speaking) on 42114 (6x6 Volvo loader) on Amazon at the mo - £172.49, had a gift card too so that ended up in the basket wink

42100 Liebherr is available for about £320 at the moment, so stores seem to be clearing excess stock (I doubt it was a really strong seller at £399 RRP and is still available on Lego site). Has dipped as low as £280, but with higher import prices, I think this is the right money - so bought one of them too.

Now just waiting for the CAT D11T Dozer, Lego 42131, out later this year - won't be cheap, but should be a good build

Just finished rebuilding my GT3 before starting the Chiron that I ordered last week

Forgot how much fun it was to build this, I especially love the way the bodywork is built, working "around" the car rather than completing the same bits on each side back to back. The reduced repetition makes it much more interesting

Hoping the Bugatti is as enjoyable to build, I've done the first ~60 steps
Almost 800 steps through the Chiron now. It's a much more "solid" build than the Porsche and looks excellent IRL

Thought it was odd that the set had ~50% more pieces yet was a similar size but picking it up explains why - it's a lot heavier with a lot of the additional pieces going into increasing the strength of the model

Although it's not a proper W16 building the engine is great fun

Looking forward to the Sian now

its a good build a lot more detail than the GT3RS and much bigger and heavier ,just a pity all the workings are not seen,

I'm thinking I ought to before it's discontinued and the price goes up...

I held off for two years. Given I couldn't do a ski holiday this year I bought it to take away some of the boredom. I'd say it's worth buying.

Fleabay. Brand new, sealed box - at least that is what was shown in the photos I asked for.

We will see when it arrives on Tuesday.

Cost me £225.00 + £10.00 postage. Happy with that. So far!!!

Amazon don’t do click & collect hence the somewhat reluctant use of fleabay.....

SWMBO says no more Lego. Goes without saying I have ignored her however dare not risk delivery whilst she is at home hence click & collect!!!

Get it dropped off at an Amazon locker. Once delivered you have a week to collect it and get it past Cerberus.

Asking for a friend where would you hide the Lego once built?

Interestingly, I had my first session with a new financial advisor via Zoom on Friday.

And sitting on the shelves behind her was a completed Porsche RSR and a Defender. I think I've found the right advisor...

Just bagged a Top Gear rally car, 42109, for a bargain £43.00 delivered!!!!

Discovers that Argos have dropped their price too £43.00 even though they don’t have any in stock.

So thought I would have a go at the John Lewis price match promise.

And they accepted my claim! Well chuffed with that bearing in mind the John Lewis website price is £125.00.

All I had too do was pay the full price, email John Lewis the order number & the difference will be refunded at 00.01 tomorrow morning.

So now I am seeing what other bargains I can find.

Sodding Covid. Costing me a fortune!!!
