I actually rather like it. But, I just can't afford it.
Yay. Yet another car.I actually rather like it. But, I just can't afford it.
Maybe they sell well but to me Technic should include more big models of 'stuff', and ideally better engineered ones than some of their other recent efforts.
After the first dozen the cars get a bit meh.
Would rather spend a chunk more and get the Sagrada la Familia when that is released!

I bought a used one and had to sort all the pieces (thankfully all there), built it, got 3 steps very early in the build very wrong.
Had to disassemble it back to the start and start again.
Thankfully it was during lockdown so time was available!
EPIC thing though when built and working properly!
Was it the cog that made the 4 wheel steering connect together? My lad did that, and it had to all come apart to rectify it. Had to disassemble it back to the start and start again.

After gaining “permission” to takeover a room downstairs I bought some bookcases for my sets, mainly into technics, only began my Lego addiction last Christmas so I’ve been trying to purchase the ones which are nearer to retirement first as I don’t want to buy second hand, the GT3RS was the hardest to find as a genuine one.
I do have the T rex but I need to go back and buy a shelf for above the TV as the bugger doesn’t fit anywhere, also need to get some hole covers as I forgot!

I saw the new Koenigsegg built up in the shop yesterday. You’re going to need to create a white background in one of your shelves for it or you won’t see it.I do have the T rex but I need to go back and buy a shelf for above the TV as the bugger doesn t fit anywhere, also need to get some hole covers as I forgot!
It’s a beast for sure but £400….

I have several others including the P1 to go first, so hopefully by which point the Koenigsegg is on offer at smyths or something, hopefully won’t be anymore stealthy than my Merc f1, if so I’ll come up with something I’m sureIt s a beast for sure but £400 .
Technic cars really aren’t my thing (haven’t got a single one) but a well meaning relative gave me this for my birthday.

Gotta say I wasn’t keen on the look of the box image but it’s a lot better in the flesh so to speak. Fun to build too except for clicking bloody pins together!
Biggest problem now is a tend to keep my Lego cars in sets (Speed Champions, F1, Legend F1s) and I feel like the Aston is a bit lonely. Some of the other smaller Technic cars look a bit rubbish though, FXXK or GT40 are the only ones that look okay to me…

I managed to hold off on ordering the Ferrari until today, I bought the first three 1:8 cars (Porsche is still the best) and given the Ferrari is retiring in 2 weeks I got sucked in to not letting it slip away... Paid a little bit more than the £150 I paid for the Porsche... I really enjoyed the Porsche and the Bugatti but I thought the Sian was boring and ugly. I am hoping I enjoy the Ferrari a little more

The new Koenigsegg looks amazing, I'm sure in time I'm going to end up buying that and the McLaren to keep the set complete...
The Defender beats all of the 1:8 sets, that one is an amazing build

I’ve just bought the McLaren, looking forward to the build, my build order was the Sian first as it was about to retire, then the Porsche, buggati and Ferrari, my favourite so far was the Ferrari.I really enjoyed the Porsche and the Bugatti but I thought the Sian was boring and ugly. Love the look of the Koenigsegg but will wait until it’s around £280-320
I don’t have the defender as it retired before I started Lego, however I bought the G wagon, are those 2 builds similar?
