Moving some stuff about today.

I went through a phase some time ago of buying models that I had (and wrecked) as a kid. The Fulvia was always my favourite as I remember Dad buying it for me while we were on Holiday in Italy during the 70's. Obviously none of these are top-end models but nice to see they're worth a wedge more than I paid for them 10 years ago. Turning a stupidly old age next year so probably time to shift them as they sit in a cupboard gathering dust.. hehe

That brings back memories! I think I still have the Lancia and the BRM sports car boxed, plus a Fiat 131, Lancia Stratos and a couple of others… they were so special compared to Corgi and the like.

I’ve always been a Ford fan, probably stems from my dad having Cortina estate company cars back in the late 70s/early 80s when I was aged 6 to 10.

I currently own over 65 Ford models and I am also on my sixth Focus road car.

Model Car Group brought out a Focus MK3.5 ST Estate model earlier this year in 3 colours but not in the Stealth Grey that I had as a road car:

This is my road car, I owned it back from 2015 to 2017:

I’d spotted a guy on a Facebook group who modified scale models and after some discussions back and forth around May this year he agreed to modify the MCG model to match my road car.

So here it is, he sprayed it Stealth Grey, changed the wheels, added mudflaps and a sunstrip at the top of the front window, front & rear reg plates and also front & rear splitters:

OK guys, need some help here.

14 year old grandson has seen my extensive collection of diecast 1:18 scale Porsches and now wants them as Christmas presents!

But although 25 years ago it was possible to source them at circa £25.00 they are now a lot more expensive.

Do you guys know of best source for new or decent secondhand places to buy 1:18 Porsches without taking a beating financially.

Sensible pointers much appreciated.

He made a very good job of that.
Presumably you are now on the look out for a Mk 4.5 ST Estate for your collection, which will be back to the same guy for a Mean Green re-spray, if not available in that colour.

Otto Models make a MK4.5 Focus ST in Mean Green but only the hatchback.

If any model manufacturers decide to make a MK4.5 Focus ST Estate in the future then I’ll definitely be getting one!

I'm dipping my toe in after a 45 year gap in making models (aircraft).

Inspired by another thread, I'm planning to buy / modify some models to match my current 'collection'.

I'm starting with these two.

This one's easy (apart from the silver wheels!):

This is trickier, as it's both the wrong model and the wrong colour, but relatively cheap to dismantle and have a go at changing things:

Depending on how it goes, I'll share the results!

Model Car Group; had to buy the red 4x4 for the lattice wheels for the earlier white 2wd "Christmas" car. Dragging my heels listing the red one, now on the chunkier OZs...it is lovely! Wrong time of year to try to sell a car, right?!

This is my absolute dream car - Brabus G900 Rocket - I have one rented in the UAE next month.

After a long time of hunting I found a small independent model shop online who had this in stock.

1:18 GT Spirit - It's beautiful.

I have models of many cars I have owned or own now. I no longer have an early 911 nor a 997.2RS but the rest are still in the garage, their 1:18 models below:

My sales rep who had sold me all of these and a few other Porsches:
