Unbelievable detail in some of these - I wish I was anywhere near this good.

Well it would be rude not to add to the collection!

Given the shuttle adventure broke me back into Lego this is clearly a must buy. Buy more than one and box the extras if you have patience!

I'd have to get the Saturn V, any indications on size and therefore price? Or is it a relatively 'small' kit like most Ideas sets?

Unless the tower is really complicated I can't imagine there is much enjoyment in building the actual rocket?

If the specs are anything like the Ideas site then it would be 1.1m or so, unlikely to have varied much from that.

Don't think the part count is enormous though.

I don't think there is a tower - just the rocket which is built in various stages.

On another Ideas note - I was disappointed that LEGO went for Women of NASA for the last round of submissions. It doesn't seem to have much in the way of build complexity but I suppose it will be a PR hit for LEGO. I was hoping that the modular construction site would win as that was a great design.

It will be interesting to see what wins the next round as there are some really good designs - including the VW Golf and Land Rover.

I have huge interest in NASA/Space/rockets, but it looks like a pretty boring/basic set tbh frown

Seems to be triple VIP points at lego.com and in store at the moment. I think until 23 April, but don't hold me to that, because as usual their website is utterly rubbish at explaining the offer or showing any related small print.

There is also a freebie of a mini version of the Beetle that looks pretty cool, with purchases over £35.

Time for me to order Assembly Square, I think!

I saw the UCS Snowspeeder at Celebration yesterday and it looks very good indeed, a large set (as all UCS should be), and extremely accurate to me, looks like it could be a very interesting build too, with the ship design and shape. Certainly one to add to the list.

Parisian Restaurant retired? Didn't see any in Toys R Us lately and it's not in stock on the lego site.

It says 'Back Order' which doesn't seem promising? My local Toys R Us had loads one week, then none the next.
