I saw that leak the other day. I was thinking before starting this build I might get one, but now I'm not sure. I'll see how this looks after. It feels like quite an unnecessary level of complexity inside the helmet. Almost to justify the cost or get the brick numbers up.

Similar to any of the Star Wars helmet series? They seem quite overly complex inside.

I suspect it's to get all the angles right and ensure the finished thing meets their standards for robustness. Making it as just a shell would be very difficult.

The one in the shop looked mighty impressive though with the minifig scale interior.

Son's done Rivendell (with some help, of course! ), and it's a lovely thing. A few bits are repetitive, but not enough to worry about and there's some cool techniques and amazing detail.

Just got the road bike. Enjoyable build. Nothing tricky. Looks the part. It's +/- 60cm long. Was dreading the chain, but it was easy.

Lovely. Have to wait until father's day to open mine. Might even get custom stickers to match my old red Cervelo. Combines 2 of my passions. Lego and cycling

I've seen them too but they're only in Black, would prefer White, like my actual bike. Still very cool with decals.

I’m guessing they’re assuming it will be ‘finished’ by November?

If not, no worries, you can always leave a few bits off and 30 years later ‘nearly there’

Absolutely beautiful and a 12k plus set but that price is punchy.

The interior shots look as detailed and lovely as the exterior.

This is a Titanic set for me. I’d absolutely LOVE it, just cannot justify the outlay and don’t have the space to show it off in all its dust trap glory.

It's on my list, but like the Notre-Dame set, it'll have to go in a display case, cos, as you say... dust!
