I already had the two VW's to build, but I got a fantastic deal on two Technics sets and the Sopwith Camel, the three new sets arrived today!!!!
Where did you find the Sopwith Camel? Didn’t buy it when new & always regretted it.What else did you get with the Camel?
That mustang looks cool.
Been sorting out my minifigure collection:
In that picture there is just under 300! Added to the minifigures in their vehicles (I leave all my vehicles with driver and crew) and some in buildings, I now have around 450 in total.
Sounds like a lot but for my planned city to set up a semi realistic city centre will use a lot of them. Even the ground floor of my 4 storey hospital has used over 20 figures. Now add in shopes, office buildings etc. I also want at least one or two "skyscrapers" in lego and with semi-decent interior detail including minifigures. So sounds like i will need even more!!

Best start buying in bulk then!!!
Your city sounds really good, I'll admit I was surprised by how many chaps are building cities in Lego, they look great and it's very therapeutic!!!
There's plenty of great Lego city builds on youtube. Start with Jangbricks, he's the best Lego YouTuber. Nice guy and I find his voiceovers very calming. Ive got a load of buildings, vehicles, all the roadway and train tracks ready to go. Mines going to be nothing anywhere near as big as Jang's city.
Mine wil probably be about 3m by 1.5 ish with an L leg off one side. I want it to fit in all the empty space in my lounge. I could abandon my lounge and move the lounge stuff to the dining room as its big enough to be a lounge and dining room, but i want the city in the lounge so its easier to work on and mess around with in a convenient place.
My lounge looks like this:
My thoughts are large L shape table at the shelves end of the room leaving sofas where they currently are. Option 2 is a U shape table into the bay window with the sofas at other end of room. In both cases the TV is going on the chimney breast wall.
decisions, decisions!!

I'm going to take a guess that you're single? My Mrs loses her st at how much we have taking up our sons floor
Lmao I was thinking the same. My Lego is all relegated to my office and my daughters to her playroom. (Well other than then Disney castle which lives in my daughters bedroom and the cube calendar which lives at the bottom of the stairs)Captured from the driving seat of my Lego powered Scalextric slot car. Spectacular in car action on the Wallsend Raceway, notice the train as it passes the furious racing action. Marvel at the fast turns and skillful overtaking. Gasp in horror at the smash at the end....
