I love that there are enough men in a similar boat with their other halves that two people came up with the Amazon locker suggestion in as many minutes
Whilst I’m in a similar boat I get my speed champions delivered, build them whilst she’s out and then place it on top of my Lego Mac truck that’s currently sat in the living room. It then takes about 6 weeks for her to realise it’s a new model at which point I move it to a shelf and repeat! Large models she’s not so forgiving. The Audi is on back order with Lego until next week so I imagine Argos/John Lewis/etc will have stock soon after.
Porsche 1974 911 (75895) is finally back in stock at Lego (although now also back order) and John Lewis. Refuse to pay inflated eBay prices so I’m pretty happy now. One of the better looking sets IMO.

Where did you get the Quattro from?
I can’t find anywhere close to me. Argos, Sainsbury’s, Smyths etc all don’t have any stock.
And because I am currently ‘not allowed’ to buy Lego, I can’t buy anything direct from the Lego store!!!

Picked up the Speed Champions 911 Turbo for Christmas, The Range had quite a few in stock.
I also made a little replica of the Bonus Cube from Forza Horizon 4 using individually bought bricks.
Planning to pick up more Speed Champions sets soon.
I was curious what other colours one can build the 911 in using bricks available from third party sites such as Brick Link - from what I can work out, as well as the White and Lime Green that LEGO offer, it can also be fully built in Red, Black, and Dark Blue bodies, with different interior colours possible too, so my plan is to (hopefully) build 5 of these.

I like it but it needs a great stand. I’m not 100% convinced by the blue one in the photos.

Finally ‘got’ the Quattro.
On order from Argos. Available for collection sometime next week.
Meanwhile the hunt for the Ferrari & Nissan GTR continues.
Noticed that Benfleet (Essex) Sainsbury's had the Audi & the GTR earlier today (appreciate not much use if you don't live anywhere near there though!). On order from Argos. Available for collection sometime next week.
