OK - silly question but my 8 year old wants to know if this model floats like some of his Lego City boats.

He says that if it doesnt float it isnt very good!!!!

Thank you.

Would be good though if it did float - and then you could add an engine.....

You could click 'Watch' though that's only present on the full browser, not mobile, annoyingly smile

I go through phases every couple of years of buying Lego; whenever there's a Creator set which appeals I tend to get that, then have a splurge on loads of sets once in a while. I'd really love the Ewok Village but I just know I wouldn't keep it out on display so am resisting.

I'm three quarters of the way though building the opera house. It has to be one of the best models I've built. I'm primarily into the technic sets but this has been a fantastic build. It's nice to get back to the old fashioned putting one brick on top of another rather than beams and pins.

Progress so far.

Quick question - when i built mine earlier in the week, it seems that the middle leg won't drop enough to allow it to go in position on all three legs and tilted. Did you have to do any fettling when building or did it all go ok?
It all seems OK lenny007 but I am frustrated that the middle leg doesn't drop when I press the lever on its back. To make it stand properly on three legs you have to pull the feet down from the outside legs so they are angled correctly.
I am going to hunt tinterweb for advice on my non-dropping third leg. Ooer missus!
Mine drops all the way as required. It's one click of the lever to drop the leg and then another click to lock it into position IIRC. Other wise it just collapses. I lean the body back after lowering the leg and the outer two feet swivel into the correct position.

Loving that!

I have to agree about Lego building having recently built the VW Camper and some Lego Castle sets it is very satisfying. I'm resisting buying the London Tower Bridge.

Saw the Tower Bridge set made up at the Sheffield Lego store. It was huge. I have nowhere to display it so I settled for R2D2 as it has a small footprint.
