Yes, it's huge, and I'm a bit in awe of it. It's on my "to build" pile in my hobby room and I'm a little bit scared of how long it's going to take and how much room it's going to take up when it's done.

Just had an email to announce the return (in limited quantities) of the Ulysses space probe on VIP, no clue on how many points though, I missed it last time so I'm quite keen this time but I'm not very lucky with this sort of thing.

How many points did it cost last time ?

i don't think it was something that could be bought last time? Wasn't it a freebie with something else or am I mis-remembering?

Space shuttle... Mine didn't come with it despite me ordering early, there was a cock up with times and it went on sale at 11pm not midnight or something.

I remember now!

That's right... Looks like the re-stocking of it is to allow VIPs who missed out last year to get their hands on one this time around.

My boys would love that but it looks more of a model and less of a toy

To be fair they released a bunch of really decent Jurassic sets for kids at the same time (9 kids sets and 1 adult one!) which seems like a decent balance to me.

Lego actually had a bit of a battle to release sets under the 'old' Jurassic Park branding, Universal wanted Jurassic World branding on everything. I guess the success of those early JP sets has changed their minds a bit, but the releases are still heavily skewed towards the younger JW Dominion ones.

I bought the Jurassic Park one and my 7 year old saved up for one of the new Dominion ones, so job done as far as Lego's marketing dept goes!

This could go into the TV forum but probably the more interested audience here.

Legomasters Australia season 4 finished up yesterday with some truly spectacular builds, as you'd hope with access to 3 million parts in the "brick pit". It's one on my favourite things to watch and highly recommended.

It's much much more competitive than the Legomasters UK from 2017.

Legomasters USA is not bad either and will start their season 3 in a month or two.

Looking forward to it being on here, Legomasters Aus series 2 I think was on recently, and US season 2 (I think) has just a couple of weeks left.

I was coming on to say the same thing - yes it's a reality TV show, but it seems to focus on the tension of building in the time-frame and celebrate friendships rather than nastiness/aiming for failure.

This latest season did show one contestant was a bit unpleasant, but that seemed to be bourne out by the other contestants avoiding her as well rather than pure TV editing (and even then the editing wasn't bad, just it was clear she wasn't happy-go-lucky).

If you have a VPN, the 4 seasons are available here: https://www.9now.com.au/lego-masters/season-4 and elsewhere too smile

I've just pre-ordered this via Bricklink / LEGO:

It won't be produced and shipped until spring 2023 though as it's one of the designer program sets.

Our 7 year old tells me this is one of the most enjoyable builds yet (it was meant to be for my wife, but he built the entire thing!)

So many little Easter eggs and nice design touches.

Even gets a little Yoda size stove and pot. Lovely little detail that won’t be seen when completed.

Also, the use of different colour base plates under the green clear tiles to provide variance of the swamp water is brilliant.
