Honestly pacman will be far far better
I'll order it on Saturday biggrin

On a separate note, I noticed that Ecto-1 is reduced to £168 from £210.... I found an email that showed that I paid £96 for it from Argos in November 2021. I am genuinely surprised by that...

Pre Covid I purchased the 911 RSR for £60 from Argos. Not really seen it below £100 since.

I couldn’t resist and have just ordered the Pac-Man set. It’ll be a July birthday present but since I currently have a broken collarbone and shoulder blade, building it before then isn’t really viable anyway.

My brother's done it - says the build was OK but apparently it's a little flimsy doing the 'transforming'. Where it shines is as a finished display model.
I've got it...there's a couple of joints which needed more reinforcement, particularly the waist pivot.

Pretty faithful interpretation, and does look good. But less of a 'toy' than it could have been...

I ordered myself the upscaled mini fig (in temporary lieu of PAC man) - I'm hoping it'll come soon as it does look cool

Did anyone get the wooden fig? What was that like?

Had to get the small Defender to go with the big one...

Both excellent sets, goes nicely with the Vespa pair.

My unbuilt pile is huge...

Both new unbuilt and built and then dismantled so I can build something else.

Probably should do a list of it all one day and scare myself.

I would but I spent a disproportionately long amount of time Tetris-ing them into my triple-door wardrobe (the only other thing in there is an admittedly-large pair of speakers). The whole thing is now unbuilt Lego - most of them 'big' sets because I don't have anywhere to put them once I've built them. I don't want to build and then dismantle, I want to keep them. I need to buy a house but unfortunately with all the bullst from last year and interest rate fkery I've parked that idea until the housing market's collapsed a chunk more...*

I can post a pic of a crammed wardrobe later though if you'd like? hehe

  • I'm finding it difficult to resist the urge to buy a BMW M5 in the interim though.

How does one forget to build Lego confused
It’s purchase then build as soon as I get it home for me.
Model kits on the other hand, that unbuilt and half built stash seems to be growing exponentially.

Well, not so much forget as run out of time in the day and then see other sets that I want and then want to build and then there's even more Lego then I have to do grown up things like ironing and my day job. It's exhausting being an adult sometimes hehe

Giant minifig and Pac-Man turned up yesterday. I think I'm gonna get those built and find the space for them!
