Sadly I'm going to have to thin out my Scalextric collection significantly.
I've got boxed sets, new and used track, analogue and digital, accessories, cars etc etc for a project I'd started but have to admit defeat in terms of the possibility of completing it. Where is the best place to sell?
Got an inventory sorted now. It's all Scalextric Sport apart from one vintage boxed set.I've got boxed sets, new and used track, analogue and digital, accessories, cars etc etc for a project I'd started but have to admit defeat in terms of the possibility of completing it. Where is the best place to sell?
I have new and old track and accessories, cars, digital and analogue if anyone is interested.

I have decided to sell off my collection of Fly sportscars that I bought when Fly first started coming out with their great 70's/80's stuff - would rather sell as one lot, so if anyone is interested then PM me.
if you like Porsche 917's and 908's + Group 5 monsters then you are in luck...most have only had test laps and all are in excellent condition (one of the 908/3's has had a small part break off the rear fin, this has been glued back on and is almost invisible to see)

Last weekend, myself and 4 other chaps raced for 24 hours (+ 5.5 hours of qualifying!) against 11 other teams of 4-6 people in a sports hall on a replica of "the best configuration" of La Sarthe circuit.
It's a pretty big replica - the Mulsanne straight is 22 metres long.
This is the car we used. We had to change bodies around hour 18 as repeated crashes had broken the body mountings, unfortunately. This was doubly gutting as for a good few hours we were class leaders and we reached our pinnacle of 4th overall at one point.
However, the chassis managed 306 kilometres during the race, which was good enough for... 7th place overall, and 2nd in class!
