No comment about my 'fan made' decals or else I'll get banned from this topic too frown

Thread resurrection.

Just picked up a couple of these from a boot sale. Can anyone point me in the direction of the tobacco decals please?

My pleasure.

I've bought several sets of these, not used them yet though.

Thanks. Somewhat put off by the price! Is there another cheaper outlet at all?

I didn't think the prices were that bad tbh.
You could try Pattos Place (http://members.optusnet.com.au/pattosplace/home.html) and his 1/43 decals are about $8Aus but you will get a whole heap of eg Marlboro logos for that price.

I have some spares to try out before I buy the proper ones. Best stuff to use to get the old decals off?

A soak in water is usually all it takes if you're removing them all.

If you want to be selective - water, a paintbrush .. and patience!

My decal maker recommended ACETONE FREE nail varnish remover applied to the old decal with a cotton bud.Keep dabbing it until the decal falls apart enough to wipe the bits off with soapy water

It did the job on an old Spot-on toy......But test first on your particular item.

Hope this helps some
