Oooooh, some disassembly required?

Great videos Jackal, they must double building time or more? Corvette did not tempt me before but it looks like a lot of fun to make.

As for reviews of the different Sian available I'd recommend checking out the Lepin subreddit. There have been a few built now.

Does this mean the instructions are wrong? Do you know where they should go. Are they spares?

Cheers I'll go look at that.
Yeah it does increase the build time. I filmed about 9 stages over about 3 evenings. But my thinking is, I could have built it in an evening and then its done with. But this way I get to make a cool movie too (I love messing with Adobe products anyway). So I get many more hours enjoying the build.

Some of the shuttle just completed.

The nose cone of the rocket was really tricky and probably needs redoing, a couple of white bits were marked, and I added some strength to the display stand...... but zero missing pieces.

That looks really nice. Where did you get it?

Instructions are correct, they are sitting above where they are supposed to go. Fortunately it only took me about 15 minutes to put them in.

That looks great, your photos make it look huge, how tall is it?

52cm. Supposedly 1:110 scale.

The only thing is half dozen curved pieces on the nose cone were the wrong shade. They stand out quite heavily. Looking on BrickLink to find matching bits!!

GT3 RS complete. No missing pieces but one tiny part right at the end was the wrong colour. Impressed with the end result, you would have to look very close to tell the difference. Having recently built a genuine land rover defender the quality of parts was about 75% as good as Lego with no assembly issues.

I've made a couple of AliExpress purchases in recent months for various low value odds and sods without any problems, so I've taken a calculated gamble on a Legoalike Mini Cooper.

The reviews are positive and the seller has a decent record so I'm remaining positive. And considerably cheaper than anything on eBay

I bought one of these from Ali Express 2.5 years ago and was very happy with it so hopefully you will be too.

Has anyone placed orders recently with joooooy or ywobb? Wondering on lead time/tax/import before placing another decent size order!

Since Xmas I have purchased from Aliexpress and YourWobb.

Aliexpress was really quick for some of the order (could it have come from an Eu depot maybe). The rest came from China and took a month. YourWobb will take about a month. They seem to take ages to notify about dispatch - but everything I have had from them has been exceptionally well packed and only the Saturn V launch pad had pieces missing. Yourwobb has a quick response time for enquiries, and a tracking system which takes some effort to decipher!!

I got what seemed like a stty email from Aliexpress because I had not confirmed delivery of the items - I did not know i was expected to do so. I suppose a bit like Ebay when you give feedback, but the "reminder" was very abrupt.

From both, all good to be fair, just be prepared for a long lead time.

Just ordered a yourwobb Guggenheim museum, at 35 cad considerably cheaper than eBay for the original (200+ cad!)

I will report back once it arrives.
