That’s the 911 finished. There build had two options: the Targa or the Turbo. I went with the Turbo build option.
Overall I really enjoyed the build. Only 1 small piece missing.
It was frustrating at times though as some parts are not supported/held in well due to poor design (the Lego version suffers the same issues by all accounts).

I may have made a mistake...

In wanting to improve my Lepin air force (Tomcat, Hornet, Intruder, Tiger II, Rafale, Typhoon and Comanche), I bought the fictional Talon fighter from the movie Stealth.

it's over 3,600 mostly grey pieces. Aaaaargh!

Wifey is not overly impressed.

I may need to actually sort the pieces somehow, rather than just rummage in the huge plastic tub

Just finished the BMW M 1000 RR, purchased from Joy Bricks for just over £22. An enjoyable build and good quality pieces.

Now starting on the BMW M4……..

Yes that s the one. It s actually for my Sons Christmas.
How did the Mario Kart set turn out for your sons? All good or did you have any issues? If all good, do you have a link to the supplier you bought from, I'm thinking of one for my niece as an extra gift which the official one would price me out of getting.

I got one from AliExpress, and I only had one problem putting it together. One of the hanger-over-snot pieces has a mis-formed stud on a two stud piece, but the other one was enough to hold it in place. I paid £21.08, but the seller / item seems to have disappeared now.

Looks good with the mini version, a blue shell overhead and the moustache and eyes on the wrong way round...

I am looking at the possibility of buying a 'Mouldbrick' large Technic type model off Amazon. 11000 piece large tow-truck. Anybody any experience of their models (seem to have a large range on their website). Certainly looks a challenging build, but I'm feeling up for it!

Bloody nora, that was an effort. Great looking model though.

A few shots of the XJD BMW M4, too date I’d say it’s the most fiddliest kit I’ve built to date…

Anyone made the Artemis? I can’t figure out the cross rods that go up through the solid rocket boosters - lego has one long continuous rod whereas knockoff has (seemingly) 4 rods instead.

I can’t seem to arrange them to stretch from one section to another appropriately and I’ve tried multiple scenarios of how far up or down to push them. Any ideas. Or do I need to cut one down.

That looks excellent, how's the wing mechanism? I'd love to have a bunch of Sci-fi and aero models but can't commit the time or over-capacity shelf-space, I've had a model of the Rocinante in my ali shopping basket for far to long.

Not strong enough IMHO. So I might rebuild it a little if I'm feeling brave

All conpleted. Generally good value for money, but the downside for me was 4 sheets of stickers. Only time will tell how they hold up.

Jeez, finally finished Artemis. Not to be undertaken lightly! And dusting it looks like it will be a bd
