I've always thought that the Tamiya articulated trucks would be a worthwhile investment for anyone thinking of a career driving LGV's. The principle of steering in reverse is the same as on the real thing and must be able to save a few very expensive lessons on the road.

I always fancied one myself as the look great fun, but if Mrs O'Rourke found the credit card bill...

A couple of photos

I got rid of all my old cars from my racing days except a couple of 1/18 that I still use for fun.

The Law of Sod will dictate that my iPad-shot photos will come out upside-down, but here goes.....

Only the one, a shelf queen and put together last spring purely for nostalgia's sake. I wasn't allowed to buy one back in the day, even though I'd saved the money myself. Of course, as a forty-something it now cost an arm and a leg to add all the aftermarket goodies.

I've a second kit squirrelled away, with plans to finish it as the Belray Bullet when I have the time.

Drifter bought. Used MST MS-01D, nice bit of kit for an entry level chassis.

Needs electronics but I'm undecided on brushed or brushless, I want to keep it cheap if i can.

The carpet track ones are from Ratrap NRD, but used to go Soul regularly.

Yeah James and Mitto sold up and Mitto spend most of his time fishing now. James is supposed to be opening a new track....

Cool, I've not heard of the rat trap place looks good but a bit to far away for me.
Hopefully James opens something,we've not got anywhere decent to go anymore.

Where? Or are you referring to the BMX track up by John Lewis?
