My Tamiya truck was probably my favourite ever build, at just over 6 feet long, it cost a fortune though!
Id love to build one of the new Scania's, but can't bring myself to spend that sort of cash again.

I've really enjoyed the 1/5th FG this year though, the only problem being finding somewhere big and smooth enough to run it!
I'm getting tempted to buy another shell for it and do a complicated BTCC style livery.
(Next to my Hotshot for scale!)

I used to race a bit a of 1/5 scale about 20 years ago. There is a track a stones throw from where I used to live in Brooklands Kent - They are a lot of funId love to build one of the new Scania's, but can't bring myself to spend that sort of cash again.

Mine was far from a standard build though, but even if you did go for literally a truck and trailer it’s not going to be cheap.
Rough prices…
Truck £300-1000
Trailer £200-1000
Lights/Sound unit (MFU3) £280
Then add more custom parts, paint, decals, extra lights, motorised trailer legs, motorised fifth wheel release, multi channel radio etc etc and you can easily be 2k deep for just a simple truck and trailer
Yeh that adds up fast! Although for say £500 you could be good to go - I already have a lot of Radio gear for Helis and planes that would work.... Rough prices…

No must not

I’m really tempted by one of these, the Kyosho build experience is always a pleasure.Hearing that Kyosho is a nice experience sounds expensive. I want to buy this and don't need further encouragement...

So i've started down the RC rabbit hole.
Moved into a house with a bigger garden last year and just had a new path done...

I've had this WLToys 1:28 buggy for a couple of years but not really had the space or time do play with it up to now. Had fun trying to blat round the new track, but the steering is very twitchy so I now have this Carera GT24 Quattro which is a lot better and has enough suspensionto handle the slightly rough concrete surface.

I wondered how a bigger truck would be so I bought a 1:18 DeeRC 302e. It's fantastic and stupidly fast 😁 Now i need to find somewhere with more space to properly thrash it about.

Also thinking of picking up a Losi Micro-B as
