It’s probably finished, but he didn’t bother posting pics as there wasn’t a lot of interest in 5he thread.
Build threads take a lot of time to edit and post pictures and sometimes you feel like nobody even bothered to look.
It’s why I don’t do build threads any more.

I’m not sure why some builds capture people’s imagination ore than others. In some cases it’s obviously down to the skill involved, but on others it’s not very clear.

Assembly almost complete. The rear spoiler to cement in place and then the Shelby stripes.

How the model looks against some of my kit hoard.

Here' s the reason for the delay in posting images - the Shelby stripes. It's best if you start applying the decals on the back of the car and work your way forward. Bear in mind, they have to be fixed in place with millimetric precision. So you'll need a rule and a lot of decal fix. I've cemented the chrome Shelby badge in place after adding the stripes. Don't try to fix all the stripes in place in one go. Add them in stages. The amount of precision required will test your patience.

Good to see it almost completed.

I’m happy to have got it wrong.

It was a nice day. So I added the stripes to the roof.

More Shelby stripes applied - again with millimetric precision.

Almost a disaster with the SHELBY decal. It split into two pieces and I a had a job unpicking it and piecing it back together.

TBH I think your roof stripes and vertical boot stripes are a bit offset to the right - the circular badge is presumably located positively on the boot, but isn’t in the middle of the stripes.

Front stripes attached but not without difficulty. I used decal soft to smooth the wrinkles.

Side stipes on and the last two parts ready to be superglued in place.

Was thinking about this thread and thought a bump would encourage the OP to post some completed pics!
