Finally bit the bullet and found a neat storage solution on Etsy.

That's a great effort
But what car is this, an Alfa 90?

Bought another of the 3D printed inserts for the IKEA Sannahed picture frame - this time an 18-slot insert for the 25 x 25 frame.

This one is exclusively for Defender models (mostly Hot Wheels but the new Defender 90s are Matchbox). I've got three slots at the bottom to fill - I've put some of my Coupe Clips in there whilst I search for more Defenders!

I’m going to investigate this IKEA option - looks good. I have access to a 3D printer so if the stl files are available that would be a good option. The Etsy offering is really well made but not cheap.

I also found this on Temu - about £20 inc shipping from China! Will be a home for my MF Ghost/Initial D/Tomica stash and an Ocado van!

Here is their eBay page https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/3dshrimping

I've bought two of the inserts and they are great quality and delivered quickly. I prefer these to the open shelf designs as they keep the dust off!

I'm now looking at 3D printers...

I got first go at a new box at the local toy shop. Left a grey McLaren W1 and some blue McMurtys, was tempted by a Taycan but it was white and I reckon a better colour will turn up. Bottom right is the KITT concept.

I have an older KITT concept casting, apparently this new one has a slot in the bottom to shine a light though and illuminate the scanner! Need to check mine now as apparently the regular KITT has this too, never noticed.

It does! It lights up the whole inside too, which is neat. Thank you!

Just looked at mine and it has it as well biggrin however I've realised despite saying KITT Concept on the pack and bottom of the car, it's actually the KARR version. Which explains the silver bottom half. I don't think I'd noticed before, it actually says KARR on the front as well I'm clearly blind.

Means it lights up orange as well. Now need a KITT version to match...

Well, there were a load of them (five maybe) in the new box, so I don't think they'll be rare. Only one of the grey W1.

Good to know, I'll have to check I didn't actually already pick up the previous one and I've just missed placed it. According to the web there was a KITT version in 2022 before this new release.

Loads in my local Sainsburys last night, only snag is they have raised the prices to £2.40 each but my local Aldi just does not seem to getting new stocks
