Yup - mine was just right there at the front on a Smyths.

In other news I have two 60-space cases on the way, and have just taken apart something to respray it. Drilling out the rivets was much harder than I expected!

Display cases arrived - they're actually quite decent.



And my first repaint was fairly successful. The bumpers look a bit odd now though!

The bumpers need painting to match. Those wheels always look like cf48s to me. You have done a good job on the blue though, it even looks in scale.

I think I'm making good progress on filling the cases. This one is going to be by manufacturer - still got Audi (probably), Ferrari, and Aston Martin to go in. I hadn't realised how many Porsches I'd managed to find - there are some duplicates and others not shown, so it might be time to start selling the ones I didn't like enough to go into the cabinets.

And the BMW with sprayed bumpers - took a bit of doing to get it back together, the back wasn't sitting right. I love the half-open driver's window - really hard to appreciate the detail without getting them out of the packet.



Next up will be the 635 CSI, which I think will look much better in a slinky mid/light grey. This has changed how I look at Hot Wheels; I think I'm going to be pickier about which I buy, but less picky about the colour and avoiding ones with fussy decoration.

My eyes lit up when I noticed the neat lines of cars in the Tesco bucket this morning. Could only mean it had been recently reloaded!

I’ve been on the hunt for the Beast of Turin for a while. I thought I should get the Ferrari F1 car and I love Dinos. Didn’t know there was a loose option. And the 911 is just a lovely casting.
