Indeed. And I think the two, and MGT in particular, produce more accurate, better built examples than the RLC equivalents. The Rexy cars are lovely castings.

To be fair, this is a very nicely presented car.

I was pretty sure the Taycan would appear in not-white at some point.



There was also a purple hot rod marked as a Fiat 500C. Is that something that would excite some collectors?

The blue is nice. We had green before the white, and red before that too.

Green is my personal favourite, I’m hoping I see the green Matchbox Sport Turismo to replace the dull grey.

Is the Matchbox 2cv a current model? Not sure where round here sells Matchbox now, not seen them in years.

Often in Poundland if you have one nearby, usually with a deal on them and Hot Wheels.

It was indeed a Poundland, and restocked since last I was there (a month ago maybe) so I'd guess it must be current.

I'm a bit tempted to repaint it yellow as a For Your Eyes Only tribute, but I think it'll go on the "odd but good" shelf instead.

Thanks all. I think there’s a Poundland in Bury St Edmunds so I’ll have a look next time I’m there.

Our parents had a green 2cv when my brother and I were kids so he collects models of them now. Be a nice addition, might even paint it green for him

Or there are lots of online place - philipstoys, Hobby Cars, The Toy Barn, and gemdar all spring to mind.
