A reasonable haul and benefitted from a multi buy offer.

Three arrived thanks to Jeff.

The premiums are a hell of a lot nicer than the regular - but I need to remind myself the idea is 'cheap toys for fun' not chasing the rabbit hole that lead to buying exoto and CNC 1/18s!

I have found some cool things to print though...

This would be cool with some leds, and the two premiums I've just got on display inside, with 'regular' modern road Pork parked outside.

Couple of other (there's tonnes!) of 3d prints I've found:

Those little dioramas are cool thumbup

After a strong run over the last few months my local Lidl has been a bit of a disaster lately. Same old boxes with just the unpopular scraps left behind. Where have all the 80s and 90s legends gone?

My son did like the 40s Indy roadster looking thing that turns into a fake moustache though biglaugh

My local Aldi has had nothing new for around a month, I do wonder if they are going to stop selling them as they have so few boxes left on display

I really wanted the Prelude (2.2 … believe, yeah?) as my late father in law had one. Bought new in 1998 on an R plate, and in black. This fits perfectly.

I've the white lotus cortina.

What is it with treasure hunts etc in packets - do they mean anything?

They were out a little while ago, so you might now find one. Shame the red one had yellow windows. There is also a light blue one but that a USA exclusive and there will be a black one coming sometime soon.

I've finished my 3 custom Cortina's. The white one isn't painted, just removed the original numbers and re-lacquered it. The red / gold is painted.

I do like the rear lights, so much nicer detailed.

Wrt red/gold Cortina;
How are you detaling the rear lights etc? Looks super fiddly!

A tiny brush and Tamiya enamel paint.
Paint it silver, then white for the indicator, then red for the brakes & then orange for the indicator.

I'm hunting for that Mini. Having no luck so far.

Also hunting for the Matchbox BMW 361Ti compact. Matchbox seem to be hard as hell to find in Scotland.
