Today's haul from poundland. Sadly no F40s in Aldi or Tesco either.
However was very happy to find an RC 30 Honda (even if it doesnt have the single side wheel) and a Motocompo. Along with a Mazda 787B

You'd think they'd do white wheels/swingarm if they coloured them the same to disguise it.

I feel black wheels is the main issue with the model but im not moaning for £1.20
Recently returned from a US holiday, with a few interesting finds. My little lad had heard about the 7-11 hotwheels supra that was considered hard to find so we ventured into quite a few around the Orlando area on our travels without any luck.
Then we had a day out at Daytona speedway where we picked up a few action racing NASCAR models including this anniversary limited edition which I liked for my desk.

Then we stopped into a local 7-11 on Daytona beach and lo and behold, there it was…. a nearly full standee of the hot wheels supras in a dark corner of the store so picked up a few to bring home.

Also the local Walmart to where we were staying had a fresh batch of circuit legends in so helped ourselves to a full set and a few more of the 499p since they seem so hard to come by in the uk so far.
Best part is they were relatively cheap off the peg given the usd gbp conversion.
We also picked up several other mainline cards from one of the largest bins I’d ever seen, literally thousand+ cars in a 1.5m3 cage in the store front, could have spent hours trying to sift through that lot.

I'm still struggling with my local Aldi as they have very little HW stock.
These arrived from Ali Express yesterday. ~£3 each for these 8 compartment plastic boxes for the shelf in my garage. There's a window to the left that I was struggling with - sorry for the light flare and reflections.

And with a few other scales and makes:

I got lucky when I dropped into my local Aldi earlier this week:

Good to get the Lotus Cortina (just a few minutes after seeing a nice 1:1, or at least a convincing replica) and some of the others, and as older Japanese cars are my thing I particularly liked the look of the '73 Civic and thought it was nicely detailed. Someone then pointed out I'd found a Super Treasure Hunt, I didn't know! Ironically I'll probably now struggle to find the normal red one......

500E and the green Civic look good, will have to see if I can get thoseGood to get the Lotus Cortina (just a few minutes after seeing a nice 1:1, or at least a convincing replica) and some of the others, and as older Japanese cars are my thing I particularly liked the look of the '73 Civic and thought it was nicely detailed. They still had a few of the green EF Civic in my local Aldi this morning, I really like that casting. Also some of the custom EG Civic (red/blue, with the bigger front wheels).Managed to find one of the standard red '73 Civics today.
Asda never has any of the nice stuff shown over last couple of days but I did find a BMW 2002 recently to go with a white one that I've had for years .
I liked it so much I went looking for another ,to repaint orange and slip back into the blister pack with as little damage to the packaging as possible

I was in Asda again this morning , just 2 cars in the Hot Wheels tin box ,currently reduced to £1.34 .

I gave in, and I have to say I am quite surprised by the quality of these (bar the metro having blue headlights, I will fix that)….I also found what claims to be a 1:64 Mini Cooper, for 10$c, it’s not hot wheels, it’s a greenlight model.

Patience would have been a virtue on these , Walmart out them down to $20 for the set!!Edited by wibble cb on Sunday 17th August 16:11
