It is a bit....wonderful thing.

I was hoping others get on board and share. There's plenty of R/C action that I wouldn't think of purely because t's not my kind of thing.

Flying a routine with 2 or more r/c aircraft is a very difficult thing to do well.

These guys do a pretty decent attempt.

The best thing about the V models is the noise! Makes it 'work' so much better (and 'scale' flying)
The Lancs are magnificent models but you just can't get away from that chainsaw noise!

Moving to off-road RC cars, this weekend is the largest vintage event of the year. The Iconic RC Revival is in it's 6th year and is the highlight of my racing calendar.

I remember going to a model show at Ascot racecourse years ago where the Ripmax display team had a load of spitfires and a load of 'enemy' planes and sent them up for a dogfight. There didn't appear to be any rules so numerous mid air collisions occurred- they must have written off 6 or 8 of them.
Very entertaining I must say, but probably not sustainable!
